The C.P.U.

So now that we know how computers interpret and understand information, we are going to look at the specific components that enable them to do so. Starting with the computers brain, the CPU, lets see how it processes the data mentioned in the first lesson.

What is the CPU?

A central processing unit (CPU), or simply, the processor, is the hardware within a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetical, logical, and input/output operations of the system.
